The Insurrection draws to an end.
Battle-worn heroes from all across the land return home to burning hearths and heavy hearts. The fighting may be done, but the memories forged in each and every perilous fray will resonate in song and story throughout eternity.
Over five years, we've seen many travelers come and go. And to those who braved the odds and offered their sword or spell to the Insurrection, thank you. Without you, we'd never have stormed the tower of Karazhan. Illidan would never have known that the Insurrection was, indeed, prepared. We dethroned the power-hungry Lich King and danced on the fallen, smoldering corpse of Deathwing. And it all happened because of you.
Perhaps more important than dominance of a virtual world, each and every one of us has left this world with at least one new acquaintance, friend or lover. And that, one might say, is worth all the gold and titles in the world (of Warcraft).
While most of us have lowered our banners, a stalwart few press on and seek to represent our cause til the very end. To any of our companions who wish to return to this world and once again find themselves among friends: simply seek us out in-game on Drenden. You're sure to see a familiar face or two. To all the rest, wherever you may be: it was a privilege sharing a virtual world with you and an absolute honor to have had you under our banner.
